The 1st Fleet of Mandalore has always been the pride and joy of the Mandalorian Navy. The best of the best are assigned to it, and it's ships guard and protect the planet from enemy attacks. They also lead the way for invasion forces.But this great fleet had to climb the ranks to reach the top. Originally created by Lord Mandalore, the 1st Fleet was the only space navy the Mandalorians had. They were a race of warriors then, and did not need such a large navy. But, as time grew, so did the the need for a navy. And with the time that passed, the fleet grew in numbers, power, and respect.
By the time of the events at the Empress Teta System, the 1st Fleet was huge. It did most of the invasion by itself, as the small defensive the system tried to throw at it was crumbled into dust. And even after Mandalore's deal with the Sith, which allowed the 1st Fleet to gain the respect of most of the galaxy, the navy of Mandalore, with the 1st Fleet leading it, grew in size and respect.The only time the 1st Fleet has suffered major defeats was during the war against the dreaded Vuana. Although it was the 1st Fleet that scored the greatest victory over them, and caused the final blow to them. The Vuana killed many millions of Mandalorians, and paid the ultimate price when the 1st Fleet, armed with weapons taken from the Vuana, destroyed every last planet they controlled, and it was the CO of the 1st Flet that ordered the final planet the Vuana controlled to be destroyed. This was left the 1st Fleet crippled, but those who survied were deemed heros.
Today, the 1st Fleet of Mandalore is not as grand as it once was. But, with the new rise of Mandalore, it will regain it's honour. The 1st Fleet leads the way of Mandalore, directly towards the bright centre of the galaxy...

Fleet oath:
swear by the Warrior Eminence, the Triad and the elders of my Clan and
all the Clans of Mandalore, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfil
according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant:
I do hereby
solemnly swear to uphold the honor of Mandalore, and to act always in
the best interests of our people and the Triad.
As an Officer
of the 1st Fleet, I, swear to uphold and defend the Triad, the Clans of
Mandalor and every Mandalorian in need.
I swear to protect
and defend the Laws and the Constitution of the Mandalorians.
I further swear
to fulfill the obligations and responsibilities as a member of the first
Mandalorian Fleet to the best of my abilities.
On my honor
as a Mandalorian Citizen, I accept the position that is appointed to me
and all the rights, privileges, obligations, and responsibilities attendant
thereto.
