National Lure Coursing Competition (Sjöbo) 2007

Octan got 69 points and came third of six competing wolfhounds. The judges were Robert Dirksen and Ingela Hägg.

Ania got 56.25 points and came sixth.

Sighthound Exhibition in Bosjökloster (2007)

Octan was 4.5 years old old (champion class), he became fourth int he champion class. The judge (Zeferino Jose v Cardoso da Silva, Portugal) wrote: good type and proportions, good head, good angulation in front, very good back, good topline moves well.

Ania was 1.5 years old (intermediate class), she got 1st quality and honorary prize. The judge (Zeferino Jose v Cardoso da Silva, Portugal) wrote: good proportions, good head, good depth of chest, prefer better position of hand, good angulations in front, excellent back, moves well.

International Dog Exhibition in Malmö (2007)

Octan was 4.5 years old old (champion class), he got 1st quality, CK and became third best male. The judge (Atilla Keleman, Romania) wrote: Medium great sized male with strong head, correct bite, a good front, soft palmar region, the hind legs a litte bit open, moves well, too short hair.

Ania was 1.5 years old (intermediate class), she got 2nd quality. The judge (Atilla Keleman, Romania) wrote: 1.5 year old female with quite light bone structure. The bite correct, front paws turning out, upper and lower line could be better, a little bit too high carried tail.

National Lure Coursing Competition (Herrvadskloster) 2006

Octan got 63.25 points and came third. The judges were Agneta Doverholt and Michael Behrmann.

International Dog Exhibition in Tvååker (2006)

Octan was 4 years old old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality, CK and became third best male. He also won Certificate, which made him Swedish Conformation Champion. The judge (Homem de Mello, Portugal) wrote: correct bite, nice masculine head, good reach of neck, excellent front, nice deep chest, good topline, sufficient rear angulation, moves freely.

Ania was 9 months old (junior), she got 2nd quality. The judge (Homem de Mello, Portugal) wrote: correct bite, feminine head, front feet turning out, chest could be deeper, good rear angulation, moves freely but a bit closed in front.

European Championship in Lure Coursing Competition (Mustiala, Finland) 2006

Octan came as seventh of fourteen competing wolfhounds.

Official Wolfhound Exhibition in Tånga Hed (2006)

Octan was almost 4 years old old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality, CK and became Best-of-opposite sex Working Dog. The judge (Marion Finney) wrote: nice dark dog, pleasing head, nicely angulated front, strong deep body a little long body for the length of legs, strong muscled hindquarters, low hooks, moves with good extension but a little proud of his tail

Ania was 7 months old (puppy), she was not placed. The judge (Marion Finney) wrote: dark grey 7 months old girl. Lovely happy temperament, sweet head, shoulder Ok but needs overall more angulation, lovely dark eye, under move she was very unbalanced and throwing her tail.

National Lure Coursing Competition (Flyinge) 2006

Octan got 71.5 points and won the competition. The judges were Charlotte Andersson and Jonny Hedberg.

International Dog Exhibition in Hässleholm (2006)

Octan was 3.5 years old old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality, CK and became best male. He won Certificate and CACIB. He was Best-of-Breed. Then he became fifth in the Best-in-group competition. The judge (Birgit Piesik, Germany) wrote: middle sized powerful and strong black male. Excellent type. Correct head and ears. Long neck and backline. Correct underline. Correct angulation front and back Excellent movement. Correct tail. Excellent temperament.

Ania was 7 months old (puppy), she got 1st quality. The judge (Johan Andersson) wrote: puppy with nice proportions, long well formed head, somewhat light eyes, appropriate angulation in the front. Would wish for stronger bone. Chest long enough but need to become deeper. Good croup, well angulated back. Would wish for longer stride in the front, little tight in the back. Good coat and very nice temperament.

Octan was 3.5 years old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality and CK. Then he was second best male with Certificate. Octan won utility class and became Best-in-show utility dog. The judge (Margrain, Irland) wrote: male showing great strength. Good head, ears and placement. Eye pigment good. Strong well arched neck, good strong back with nice fall away. Long tail, correct curve. Shoulder well laid back. Good length of forearm. well muscled hindquarters showing good length of thigh. Well bend stifle, strong second thigh. well ribbed.

Ania was 7 months old (puppy), she got 1st quality and HP. She was best irish wolfhound puppy and fifth Best-in-show puppy. The judge (Margrain, Irland) wrote: promising 7 month old baby. Already showing good bone. More development to come on ribcage. overall light. Well balanced head, good eye color, ears rather floppy at this stage. Angulation good back and front. Strong feet. Good long tail.

National Lure Coursing Competition (Torup) 2006

Octan got 74.5 points and won the competition. The judges were Per Nordahl and Robert Dirksen.

National Lure Coursing Competition (Målilla) 2005

Octan got 74.75 points and won the competition. The judges were Marie Jarl and Mats Carlsson.

Tekla got 72 points coming second. There were six wolfhouns competing at the occasion. To our dispair Tekla died next day from lung inflammation.

European Championship in Lure Coursing Competition (Hoope, Germany) 2005

Octan came as second of seven competing male wolfhounds, with R-CACIL.

Tekla came as sixth of 10 female wolfhounds. There were six judges and the competition was very challenging and fun for the dogs.

National Dog Exhibition in Tvååker (2005)

Tekla was 5.5 years old old (hunting/utility class), she got 1st quality. The judge (Jeffrey Horswell) wrote: quite nice type. Very feminine. The head is long, a little bit too fine. Good front. Would like more body. Hindquarters lack a little in angulation. Coat is rather soft. True moving but with short step.

Octan was 3 years old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality. The judge (Jeffrey Horswell) wrote: nice type dog, long head with good mouth, long neck, quite nice front but need more forechest, enough depth of chest. Too long in loin, has good topline and very good rear. Tail carriage is poor. Moves well and coat is good. Dog in a very good condition. Feet too long.

International Lure Coursing Competition (Malmö) 2005

Octan got 82.25 points and got his second CACIL in Sweden. The judges were Marie Jarl (Sweden) and Ralf Löve (Germany).

Tekla did really well too and got 80,75 points coming second. There were seven wolfhouns competing at the occasion.

Octan was 2.5 years old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality. The judge (Chris Amoo) wrote: masculine dog, good head and ears, strong neck, good front, nice length, strong hindquarters, nice dog spoiled by high tail carriage.

National Lure Coursing Competition (Kungsbacka) 2005

Octan got 72.25 points got his fourth Swedish Certificate becoming Swedish and Norwegian LC Champion. The judges were Jonny Hedberg (Sweden) and Steinar Mathisen (Sweden).

Tekla unfortunately cut her paw on a piece of glas and could not participate in the competition. It appears that she will be able to run next time, in June.

International Dog Exhibition in Malmö (2005)

Octan was 2.5 years old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality. The judge (Henrik Johansson) wrote: well angulated dog with nice silhouette, could have more commading appearance for his sex. Masculine head that could have more length, good breadth of jaws. Good volume and depth of chest. Could be more angulated in the rear. Somewhat high tail in movement. Moves well and vigorously. Good coat.

International Lure Coursing Competition (Oslo/Aurskog) 2004

Octan got 78 points got his first Norwegian Certificate. The judges were Per Nordal (Sweden) and Johnny Hedberg (Sweden).

Tekla was 4.5 years old old (hunting/utility class), she got 1st quality. The judge (Brit Shöne Brodwall) wrote: 4.5 year old lady with nice head and expression. Sufficient angulation in the front and back. Nice topline, very well endoved chest. Typical movement.

Octan was 25 months old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality and CK and became 5th between all dogs. He won utility class and became BIS-3 among all utility sighthounds. The judge (Brit Shöne Brodwall) wrote: 2 year old dog, masculine and typical. Beautiful head but eyes could be darker. Sufficient angulation. Well developed body and chest. Correct topline. Rastypical movement. He is proud of his tail.

Tekla was 4.5 years old old (hunting/utility class), she got 1st quality. The judge (Hohteri Säde) wrote: utility dog of a very good type. Excellent head and expression. Nice ears, elegant neck. Good front, one would wish for longer hind legs with more angulation. Somewhat steep croup and high tail. Good movement in the front but short and stiff from side. Beautiful coat.

Octan was 25 months old (hunting/utility class), he got 1st quality. The judge (Hohteri Säde) wrote: good head and ears. The whole dog could be more elegant with longer lines. Somewhat staight arm. Good body, short croup och high tail. Too little angulation back. Moves somewhat stiff from a side. Good coat.

Tekla was 4.5 years and she got 1st quality, HP and was second among the bitches. The judge (Berit Petersson) wrote: bitch with a beautiful head och expression, sufficient neck, good shoulder and upper arm, good chest, topline and croup. Somehwat little angulation in the back, good tail, moves well.

Octan was 2 years old and got 1st quality, HP and BIR (best in breed) and was placed as 3rd in Best in Group. The judge (Berit Petersson) wrote: beautiful head and expression, good neck, shoulders, upper arm and chest. Somewhat long body, good croup and tail, beautiful colour, moves very well from every angle.

Tekla was 4 years old old (3-5 years class), she did not get placement between bitches in her class. The judge (Irmgard de Haan) wrote: dark brindle bitch, nice feminine head, good expression, neck could be longer and stronger, rather straight in front, good bone and feet, nice depth of chest, good top and underline, good width over the loin, could do with better bend of stifle, level bite, would prefer more drive in the move, good temperament and coat.

Octan was 22 months old (15-24 months class), he was second in his class. The judge (Irmgard de Haan) wrote: almost black dog, good head and expression, complete scissor bite, sufficient neck and shoulders, good bone and feet, nice depth of chest, good top and underline, unfortunately short croup and a high tailset, sufficient bend of stifle, would prefer a stronger second thigh, moves quite well, good temperament.

Tekla got 71.75 points got her fourth Swedish Certificate thereby becoming SWEDISH and NORWEGIAN LC CHAMPION. The judges were Robert Dirksen and Ivar Kvale.

Octan got 74.5 points in the first run but did not participate in the second run.

Tekla got 65.5 points and came as third of four wolfhounds. The judges were Charlotte Andersson (Sweden) and Bo Forsberg (Sweden).

Tekla was 4 years old (utility class), she got 2nd quality. The judge (DeRidder-Onghena) wrote: slightly irregular bite, good skull and earset, would prefer darker eye. Good reach of neck, good shoulder. Excellent body. Slightly sloping croup. Well muscled behind. Rather restricted in movement and too proud tail carriage.

Octan was 18 months old (young dog class), he got 2nd quality. The judge (DeRidder-Onghena) wrote: scissor bite, strong skull, middle brown eye, well carried ears. Good neck and shoulders, nice bone. Rather long feet. Well developed body, well angulated behind. Rather soft coat. Rather narrow in the rear and proud tail carriage. No drive from the rear.

Octan was 13 months old and in junior class. He got 1st quality, CK and won his class. Later on he was placed as 4th among dogs. Well developed forequaters. Excellent development of body for age. Good bend of stifle. Excellent movement, strong and powerful ride gait.

Beautiful head and expression. Would like a better bite. Good length of neck. Excellent development of forequarters. Very good development of body. Would like a little more bend in stifle. A good mover but I would like to see more style and carriage.

Octan was 13 months old and in junior class. He got 1st quality and CK and won his class. The judge (Abderrahim El Baroudi) wrote: very good dog with excellent pigmentation and construction, excellent head and neck. Very good top and underline. Excellent angles and movement.

Tekla was 3.5 years old and in Utility/hunting class. She got 1st quality and CK and won her class. Later she became BIS-3 (best in show) in utility class. The judge (Abderrahim El Baroudi) wrote: very nice bitch, excellent construction, angulation, pigmentation, head, neck, top and underline. Excellent movement.

Inofficial Irish Wolfhound Exhibition in Tjöloholm 2003

Octan and his three sisters (Warlock's Octavia O'gradi, Warlock's Octala Pre-Eminence, Warlock's Occasion Man O War) and their mother (Warlock's Yris) won the Breeder's class with quality 1 and HP.

Tekla was in a 3-5 years class. She was the only bith in this class hence she got first place but no HP. The judge (Lena Edström) wrote: Pleasant bitch of good type. OK head and nice ears and good neck. Slightly too little angulation in front and back. Well presented and in a very good condition. Moves with slightly short steps and high tail.

Octan was 1 year old and in a junior class. He became second in his class. The judge (Lena Edström) wrote: junior dog of good size and good length of the body. Needs to fill out in the breast and improve angulation in front and back. Carries the tail above the back line in movemement. Needs to stabilize in movemement. Excellent coat and nice temperament.

International Lure Coursing Competition (Tammsvik/Stockholm) 2003

Tekla got her third Certificate with 68.5 points. The judges were Susanne Leifors (Sweden) and Tobias Jösch (Germany).

Two front teeth placed irregular. Good earset. Good front, well developed in brisket. Enough knee angulation. Could have better drive and better head carriage when moving.

Octan was 7 months old (puppy class), he got 1st quality, Honorary prize (HP) and BIR valp (Best in breed, puppy). The judge (Rita van Mechelen) wrote: very good in type, head masculine enough but a bit weak in underjaw. Correct bite. Missing forechest and a bit straight in upperarm. Well developed body for age. Angulation in rear OK. Good coat. Movement with enough reach but must stabilize.

International Dog Exhibition in Sofiero (2001)

Tekla was 18 months (young dog), she got 2nd quality. The judge (Carlos Renau) wrote: nice feminine bitch that could be slightly better angulated, keeping a better topline and tail carriage. She is nice for type and overall proportion but she needs time to mature.

International Dog Exhibition in Rönneby (2001)

Tekla was 17 months (young dog), she got 2nd quality. The judge (Lisbeth Mach) wrote: grey samll bitch with good temperament and coat quality but she could be a little more typical. A little short in back and topline goes up. Angulation back too straight. Head feminine but too longn in foreface. Correct ears and bite but eyes too light and too small. In movement with good drive, tail carriage could better.

Tekla was 12 months old (junior), she got 1st quality, HP and won in her age group. The judge (Marija Kavcic) wrote: Correct size, long head, well developed body for her age, good topline, strong front legs. She needs more muscles on hindquarters. Good movement, correct coat.

Unofficial Puppy Exhibition (Malmö 2000)

Tekla was 8 months old, she got a 1st quality, HP (Honorary Prize) and won in her age group. Then she became 2nd between the wolfhound bitches. The judge (Agneta Pamp) wrote: Well formed head, correct bite, neck and topline. Hind legs could have better angles, good body and shoulders. Good movements, coat, legs and feet.
